London charges: Bluepoint London is to add another 400 charging points to its Source London network. Charging spaces can be booked ahead via app. However, rejoicing at those new spots will be charged by time plus a monthly fee. All existing charge spots will remain free of charge.

PSA to share more: Free2Move is a new label for carsharing. PSA has acquired shares in Communauto, which is active in the USA, Canada as well as Paris. Furthermore, PSA will tighten its bonds with Bolloré to add 50 Citroën C-Zero to the Bluely und Bluecub fleets in Lyon and Bordeaux.

Private sharing: Share & Charge, a community by Slock.it and RWE spin-off Innogy, enables users to share their private EV charging stations and to define pricing. The service is now at beta testing stage in Germany. Eventually, the programme shall even include renting out EVs.

BP is giving in to a new era, adding fast-charging to 10 gas stations. The service was set up with Nissan’s No Charge to Charge programme in North Carolina. Nissan says that once the new BP station charging units are up, Leaf drivers in the area are never more than 10 miles from a fast-charger.

Combined hydrogen charging: Nel Hydrogen Solutions has won a 1.5m euro contract by Latvian SIA Hydrogenis for the delivery of the new dual capability station, which offers a combined hydrogen fuelling solution for cars and buses in Riga. Delivery is planned for mid-2017.
