Research tip: Transport & Environment finds most diesel cars on the road in Europe to be severely harmful. Most of 29m diesel vehicles emit far higher NOx emissions than permitted under Euro 6. The French drive dirty diesels the most (5.5 Mio) followed by Germany (5.3 Mio).
