4,000 chargers in Rotterdam: ENGIE Services and EV-Box are said to install 4,000 chargers in region of Rotterdam by 2018, some 1,800 will be erected in the city itself. EV-Box already won a similar deal earlier this year (we reported) to set up 4,000 chargers in Amsterdam.

Is Shell going EV? According to the Guardian, the oil company is looking to set up EV chargers at its petrol stations in the UK from 2017. Moreover, Shell asked the government about its plans to install roads with inductive charging technology. Further details or how many chargers will be installed are still under wraps.

95 fast-chargers along the coasts: BMW, VW and ChargePoint have completed their project setting up fast-chargers along the East and West Coast in the U.S. Placed 50 km apart, the 24 kW stations are said to make it easier for EV drivers to go long distance.
