Dr. Gernot Döllner, head of the Porsche 918 Spyder project says that McLaren and Ferrari can’t compete with the German hypercar, because neither uses hybrid technology to push performance. He also confirmed two new Panamera performance hybrid derivatives.

Proterra CEO Ryan Popple believes that hybrid, diesel and CNG buses “will go completely extinct in transit” from 2020, and that by 2030, all bus fleets in California and Washington state could be all-electric.
