Nordic countries electrified.
A total of 13,896 electric vehicles were sold in Nordic countries in the first quarter of this year – namely in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. 7,541 were purely electric, while the remaining 6,355 cars were plug-in hybrids. Norway keeps the lead, as one in three cars sold there is electric. Sales in Denmark have stalled since the gradual reintroduction of sales tax.
