Shanghai orders: GS Yuasa won an order from Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries to produce lithium-ion batteries. The LIM50EN-12 batteries and port AGVs will be installed, with a storage battery holding 1,800 cells. The batteries have several uses, including for hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles – demand for which, GS Yuasa notes, is expanding.
