BAIC wants to increase EV production: Beijing Electric Vehicle, BAIC’s subsidiary for electric cars, has announced an ambitious five-year plan. It wants to increase annual production to 800,000 EVs and PHEVs by 2020, shooting for yearly sales worth 60bn yuan (9.1bn dollars).
