A four door coupe dubbed BMW 9 will be offered as plug-in hybrid and possibly as an EV, Automobile Magazine reports. Furthermore, mid-2020 will see the introduction of an i6 sedan driven by up to four electric drives and powered by a lithium-polymer battery pack. The latter is said to offer more energy for less money.

Google to team up with Ford: Autonomous driving technology by Google might soon be found in Ford cars. According to Yahoo, the companies are in talks and will announce details of the cooperation at CES next month. Ford will either build Google’s self-driving pods or else use the technology in their own models. However, the deal is not exclusive and other firms might as well work with the internet giant.
