Ambitious Ford roadmap: The carmaker plans to invest some 4.1bn euros in electrifying its fleet. As a result, 13 new models will hit the market as plug-in hybrids or all-electric vehicles. One of the first and expected by the end of 2016 will be the new version of the Ford Electric with fast-charging capabilities. Ford is also investing in R&D for battery and powertrain technology.
