A Tesla was 96 percent of the time in Autopilot mode as Carl Reese, Deena Mastracci, and Alex Roy drove from LA to New York. It took them, or better their Model S, 57 hours and 48 minutes. If confirmed, the ride will go down as the fastest time to cross the States in an autonomous and electric vehicle.
