Electric cargo bike sharing: Carvelo2go kicked off in Bern, Switzerland. It claims to be the world’s first electric cargo bike sharing. 18 bikes are available for hire at host locations. Hybrid bus fleet: The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District has decided to acquire at least twelve diesel-electric hybrid buses over the next five years. Eventually, the transport provider might purchase as many as 47. The vehicles will come from Canadian New Flyer Industries.
