It takes the tube an hour to circle the 17-mile of London’s Circle Line. To get people to their destination quicker, NBBJ architects suggest “feeder” walkways with three lanes. Passengers could simply step on and off the travelator. That could prove tricky, though, as the lanes run at different speeds, the fastest being 15 mph. Roll off and into a good weekend!
