CA restricts incentives: According to the LA Times, the state of California will limit subsidies for the purchase of an electric car to persons earning less than 250,000 dollars (500,000 for couples). Since the beginning of the Clean Vehicle Programme, the California Air Resource Board has distributed 242m dollars in subsidies, paid for through registration ad smog fees.

Denver shuttles electric: The Colorado city will purchase 36 of BYD’s small electric shuttles for the 16th Street MallRide in downtown Denver. The 45-foot-buses have a lifespan of 12 years and will save the city 100,000 dollars over the course of their service.

E-bus finally takes passengers: It seems that Berlin’s electric bus is ready to hit the road, following months of testing. Starting Monday, four Solaris buses will begin their official service on Line 214 in electrive’s hometown, with a wireless charging station at either end of the route.
