Exactly 14,586 ultra-low emission vehicles were registered in the UK in the first half of 2015. That is a 256 percent increase compared to last year and already more than were sold on the Isles in the whole of 2014. Chinese sales look similarly bright. 29,743 EVs and 20,884 PHEVs took to the streets between January and June, an increase of 143 and 280 percent, respectively.
