Reading tip: Starting next Monday, the city of New York will ban cars from park drives in Central Park north of 72nd street on weekdays, as well as in Prospect Park in Brooklyn one week later. Cars are already prohibited to enter the parks on weekends. The idea is to create safe zones for bicyclists and pedestrians and for kids to play in.
