U.S. sales in May.

A total of 7,057 battery-powered electric vehicles were sold in May in the United States. That is a 20.3 percent increase compared to May of last year. Sales of plug-in hybrids (4,416) and hybrids (40,257) fell by 33.6 and 22.9 percent compared to May 2014.
