Soon there will be a new species populating the South Pole – not due to global warming, but to tackle it. The Zero South mission has taken it upon itself to take central Antarctica with mega vehicles converted into plug-in hybrids running on electricity and bio fuel. Recharging with solar power is obviously out of the question.
