Airbus resorts to Ryanair methods.

The plane manufacturer now issued a patent for seats that strongly resemble bicycle saddles but are fixed and narrowly lined up in a row. The concept is designed to save space and money but even Airbus admits it will result in “reduced comfort.” Does this construction imply passengers will have to pedal-power their plane next?!
