New money for new energy: The California Energy Commission has approved funding for infrastructure projects. 3.5 million dollars will be spent on 181 new charging stations, 1.2m for operating and servicing fuel cell stations and another 2.3m are reserved for V2G demonstration projects.

Hybrid buses for Sweden: Volvo Buses has received an order for twelve of its Volvo 7900 Hybrids from Bergkvarabuss, a privately owned transit bus operator in Sweden. The buses are destined to serve in the city of Karlskrona from September this year.
