Researchers from the Swiss Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) together with PSA Peugeot Citroen have developed an on-board emotion detector. It is designed to distinguish only two emotions of a driver: anger and disgust as these could indicate road rage. So next time, give your best smile to the camera – while pushing the pedal or pressing the horn.
