Highway Code update: RightDriver.co.uk has found that almost 65% out of 1,056 driving instructors would like to see hybrid vehicles included into the standard UK driver’s guide. More than a third believe that specifically all-electric vehicles belong into the Highway Code while 68% wish to see more information on alternatively-fuelled vehicles in general.

Leafs for bus company: The Hamburger Hochbahn company has acquired eleven electric Nissans. The Leafs will be driven by mechanics and supervisors in the German city of Hamburg. There, they will certainly catch some attention as they bare the slogan “Wenn ich groß bin, werde ich ein Hochbahn-Bus” (“When I grow up, I will be a Hochbahn bus”). The company already has 36 alternatively-fuelled buses in its fleet.
