At Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, the Hennessey Venom has set a new speed record. 270.49mph makes it the fastest production car ever, beating the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. However, the record might not be officially recognised by Guinness as to count as a “production car” because 30 pieces will have to be produced. Unfortunately the Venom will only be build 29 times.
